In 2018, I participated in JL's Harvard Discovery Summer Camp, which was incredibly fun! After returning to Taiwan, my classmates were very envious that I had the opportunity to take classes at Harvard University. Courses in the United States differ significantly from those at home; everyone actively shares their opinions. Initially, I hesitated to speak up because I felt my English wasn't fluent enough, and I was worried about being laughed at by other students. However, the Harvard seniors were patient in encouraging me to join the discussions gradually. I became more involved in classroom discussions without even realizing it. Though my spoken English wasn't perfect, I felt proud of myself for overcoming that anxiety!

Furthermore, the Harvard University Exploration Summer Camp provided me with a unique opportunity to make friends from all over the world. This international exchange experience was not just fun but also incredibly valuable. It taught me the importance of respecting viewpoints from different cultural backgrounds and how to communicate with others effectively. I am confident that these skills will greatly enhance my future study abroad applications and professional career.

After returning to Taiwan, whether it was preparing for college applications in the US, the TOEFL exam, or the SAT, I became very motivated. My academic performance also improved significantly without realizing it, and ultimately, with the help of JL's consulting teachers, I was successfully admitted to my top three university choices!
